Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Crafyne (crafyne.app and crafyne.site), a website builder and hosting service operated from Indonesia. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Crafyne.

1. Your account

You need an account (via GitHub, Google, or email + password) to publish sites. Keep your credentials safe — activity on your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 13 years old.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Suspension revokes all sessions and API tokens; your reason is shown when you sign in. Published sites of suspended accounts may remain online so their visitors aren't punished, unless the content itself violates these terms.

2. Your content & sites

You own the content you create or upload. You grant us the license needed to host, store, and serve it — that's the whole point of the service. Project visibility (public, hidden, private) is under your control in each project's settings.

If you enable "Allow remix" on a project, you grant other Crafyne users permission to copy that site as a starting point for their own, with attribution back to you. This is opt-in and off by default.

Sites on the Free plan display a small "Powered by Crafyne" badge. Paid plans remove it.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Crafyne for anything illegal, or to host malware, phishing pages, or content that infringes someone else's rights. Don't spam other users through messages or abuse platform limits.

Anyone can report a site or a conversation. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts. We'd rather warn than ban — but phishing and malware get no warning.

4. AI features (Sitewright)

AI features consume monthly credits that vary by plan; unused monthly credits don't roll over, purchased top-up credits don't expire. You own the sites the AI generates for you. AI output can be imperfect — review what it writes, especially claims about your own business.

5. Billing

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Subscriptions (Pro, Ultra) renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from your account and keep access until the end of the paid period. Plan changes are prorated.

Refunds are handled case by case through support or Lemon Squeezy, except where the law requires otherwise. Credit top-ups are one-time purchases.

6. Domains

Domains purchased through Crafyne are registered through our registrar partner with Crafyne as the registrant of record, held for you (a custodial arrangement). You keep the full right to use the domain and may request a transfer-out to your own registrar account at any time via support, subject to registry rules (e.g. the 60-day lock after registration).

Domain renewals are billed through your renewal subscription; if it lapses and the domain expires, registries may impose redemption fees or release the domain. A successfully registered domain is non-refundable — registries don't give the money back to us either. ICANN and registry policies apply to all registrations.

7. Messaging

Direct messages are not end-to-end encrypted. They're stored on our servers, and moderators can read a conversation's recent messages when it is reported. Conversations with no new messages for 6 months are deleted automatically.

8. The service itself

Crafyne is provided "as is", without warranties. We work hard on reliability (every deploy is versioned and restorable), but we can't promise uninterrupted service, and you're responsible for keeping your own copies of important content — the download-as-zip button exists for a reason.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending things

You can delete your account anytime from settings. Deletion has a 7-day grace period (signing in cancels it), after which your account, projects, sites, and messages are permanently removed.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia.
